It is very important for a company to know whether the measured exposure to a hazardous substance complies with the occupational exposure limit value. The European guideline EN-689 prescribes that a statistical test is used for this compliance check. Topics covered in this masterclass include: validation of measurement results, testing against the limit value for both a small and large set of measurements, calculating the probability of exceeding the exposure limit value (95-percentile and 70% confidence limit), and determining the time interval for periodic measurements. You will receive a handy free Excel-tool for statistical tests, useful tips and practical examples.
